Coffee Recipe With a Kick: Patrick’s Addiction

May 1, 2013

I have a problem, I love coffee. This addiction is something that I battle with daily, and now, I’m taking Bill down with me.  Recently I’ve been trying to cut down on my caffeine intake since more than 4 cups a day isn’t what I would call a random occurrence, however, at work we’ve introduced a coffee pot in the Gentleman’s corner (named as such by my colleagues and I), which increases the amount of coffee I consume astronomically.

Since the arrival of the Gentleman’s Corner Coffee pot I’ve begun drinking coffee for a whole host of fake reasons: It’s Monday, It’s the afternoon, my cold is gone, the Bruins made the playoffs, it finally feels like spring, and so on, but you get the point.

The reason for this self-realization of over caffeinating is that Bill and I have been tirelessly working on this site, two upcoming books, and a host of other side projects.  In this over caffeinated stupor I realized if we’re staying in to work we might as well make it entertaining, so I asked Bill if he was interested in adding a kick to our copious amounts of coffee.  Naturally he responded with a resounding yes.

I brewed a pot and hit the liquor cabinet.  Into our brew went:

1 Shot of Jameson

1 Shot of Godiva White Chocolate Liquor

1 Tsp of Sugar

Almond Milk

Yes we may be falling deeper and deeper into caffeine addiction but at least we’re having a good time while it happens! DISCLAIMER: This is incredibly unhealthy.

Just a few a taste of the coffee we have torn through.

Just a taste of the coffee we have torn through.
